BLS (Basic Life Support) is professional-level CPR training designed for rescuers. If your employer or institution has requested a BLS card, BCLS card, Healthcare Provider CPR card, Professional Rescuer CPR card, Two-Rescuer CPR card, or a BLS Provider card, this course is for you! Successful completion of this class will earn you the official American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Card.
Please note: This is not a First Aid class. It is your responsibility to confirm the specific certification required by your employer or school and ensure that this course meets those requirements.

Course Delivery Format

This BLS course is 100% instructor-led, ensuring a personal and engaging learning experience. Key features include:

  • Human-led Instruction: Classes are taught by experienced instructors using high-quality teaching materials, including audio-visual aids.
  • Individual Practice Equipment: Each participant is assigned a high-tech electronic manikin to practice hands-on skills during the session.
  • Stress-Free Environment: Our supportive trainers create a low-stress atmosphere to help you succeed.
  • All On-Site Training: There is no pre-course online work; everything is completed during the session at our facility.

Course Length:

Nationwide the instructor led BLS courses that utilize the teaching products and help distribute the associated student products, are quoted as taking approximately 4 hours for the initial class and 2 hours and 50 minutes for the renewal class.  (Nationally quoted course lengths are based on a theoretical sample class of 6 students to 2 manikins with one instructor). 

To be safe, please allocate the nationally quoted time on your day off from work to meet this work requirement. 

Course Content

  • Latest science-based guidelines and best practices
  • Chain of survival
  • CPR techniques for Adults, Children, and Infants
  • Two-Rescuer CPR
  • Use of barrier devices, including Ambu Bags
  • Adult and Child AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation
  • Choking relief procedures and scenarios

Certification Card

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Card the same day. The card is valid for two years.
