This course is designed for healthcare professionals or students who are taking BLS for the first time or whose BLS certification has expired. It provides the complete, instructor-led American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider training required by hospitals, clinics, nursing programs, and other professional settings.

If your employer or institution has requested a BLS card, BCLS card, Healthcare Provider CPR card, Professional Rescuer CPR card, Two-Rescuer CPR card, or BLS Provider card, this is the course you need. Successful completion earns you the official AHA BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years.

This is not a First Aid class. Participants are responsible for confirming that this is the correct certification required by their employer, school, or licensing board.

Course Content

• Current AHA science and evidence-based resuscitation guidelines

• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR techniques

• Two-Rescuer Team CPR and coordination

• Use of barrier devices and Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM) ventilation

• AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use for Adults and Children

• Choking relief techniques

• Chain of Survival and teamwork principles

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive an official American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard on the same day.
Card validity: 2 years
